Anders Kulläng biography in rallies

Anders Kulläng started his rally career in 1962, and drove successively as a factory driver for Opel (Kadett GT/E, then Ascona 400), then for Mitsubishi from 1981 to 1982.

Kulläng scored 4 podiums in WRC rallies, for 74 points in 45 races and 57 special stages won, finishing 4th in the championship in 1978, and 5th in 1980. His first appearance was at the Monte Carlo Rally in 1973 (in an Opel Ascona), and his last appearance fifteen years later at the Swedish Rally (in a BMW 325i).

He has one World Rally Championship victory, at home in Sweden in 1980 in a factory Opel Ascona 400.
